About
Francisco Tovar Olivares is a clinical biotechnologist trained at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), where he completed his bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, and at the Escuela Nacional de Ciencias Biológicas of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), where he earned a Master of Science in Biomedicine and Molecular Biotechnology.
His graduate research centered on developing an antigen-based diagnostic assay for the detection of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (LSIL) and HPV in women — a project awarded at IPN's student innovation and technological development competition. Francisco pursued biotechnology driven by a clear motivation: to contribute to the development of new therapies and medicines grounded in genetics and molecular science.
At Regeneris, he applies this research foundation to protocol validation, laboratory quality assurance, and the translation of evidence-based biotechnologies into regenerative patient care.
